If the Game Service auto update process gives you the error "No Internet connection detected. Update aborted," there might be a problem with your Internet settings.
We seem to have trouble updating the Game Service of people who’s Internet Service Provider (ISP) is using a Proxy server.
Those Proxy servers are mostly used by ISP for High Speed connections, like DSL and Cable to save some bandwidth.
There are a couple of solutions that we can give you to try.
Solution 1:
- For DSL / Cable: This can be found in Internet Explorer under Tool -> Internet Options -> Connections -> Lan Settings.
For Dial-ups Connections: In Internet Explorer under Tool -> Internet Options -> Connections -> Select the Right Internet Connection -> Settings.
- Uncheck the option "Use automatic configuration script."

Solution 2:
If Solution 1 didn’t work, you can still call your ISP and ask them to confirm if they are using a Proxy Server. If they really do, then ask them if there’s a way to bypass it. Usually, they will tell you how to bypass it.
If you still can't do the Auto-update, we suggest uninstalling your current version of the ubi.com Game Service and downloading the latest one.
