Chat Zone Errors:
- An Error occurred on the Chat Server. Attempting to reconnect.
It is possible that our Chat Servers are down at the moment. ubi.com will reconnect automatically once it has fixed itself.
- Cannot connect to the Chat Server for the moment!

If your computer is behind a Fire Wall, please make sure that the port 6667 is open.
- You have been disconnected from the Chat Server!
The Game Service chat server is currently experiencing problems. Please try again later.
Lobby Errors:
- An error occurred while trying to initialize DirectPlay. Please make sure you have the latest version installed.
Make sure that you have the version of DirectX required by the game, or higher. We recommend using DirectX 7.0 or higher. You can download the latest version of DirectX at www.microsoft.com.
- An invalid game type was detected.
The game type that you are trying to use is not supported for this game. Please choose another type.
- An invalid or duplicate group name was detected.
A Session with the same name already exists. Give your Game Session another name and try again.
- Bad game version.
You are running a different version of the game than the host’s version. Most games won't allow 2 people playing together if they don't have the same game version. Visit the official game site to download the updates.
- Could not add connection.
The connection to the arena has failed. Please try again.
- Could not connect to session server.
Ubi.com servers are currently experiencing difficulties. Please try again later.
- Could not create session.
You were unable to create a game session for an undisclosed reason. Please try again. If the problem persists, please contact us about this problem.
- Could not find game settings.
The configuration files from the game cannot be found on your computer. If the problem persists, please contact us about this problem.
- Could not join session.
You were unable to join a game session for an undisclosed reason. Please try to join another session. If the problem persists, please contact us about this problem.
- Could not log in to session server.
The ubi.com server is currently experiencing difficulties. Please try again later.
- Could not start Direct Play game.
This is a known error that ubi.com is working to correct. You should be able to retry and play without any problems.
- Invalid game GUID.
The GUID for the game (a sort of serial number) has changed and the servers aren't ready for it. Please contact us about this problem.
- Join Session has timed out.
The Join Session process has timed out. It’s possible your Internet connection is slow or is lagging heavily. Please retry later.
- No host arena was detected. Try to manually join the group.
The session number currently assigned to the Lobby of the game you are trying to join isn't the right one. You will be logged on in the Main Lobby, so you will be able to join your game anyway.
- No more players are allowed.
No more players will be able to join this session.
- No more visitors are allowed.
No more visitors will be able to join this session.
- Session login timed out.
The Session login process has timed out. It’s possible your Internet connection is slow or is lagging heavily. Please retry later.
- Session already started.
You are trying to join a Session that is already playing a game. Try to join a Session that isn’t started yet.
- Some files are missing, aborting.
An error has occurred during the installation. If you reinstall the "ubi.com Direct Play Lobby," everything should be all right.
- The arena was disconnected.
The arena was disconnected. Try again in a few seconds.
- The operation you attempted timed out. Please try again later.
The operation you were attempting has timed out. It’s possible your Internet connection is slow or is lagging heavily. Please try again later.
- This game is not allowed in this group.
For a special reason, you were able to join a game without installing it first. Please make sure that the game you are trying to play is installed on your system.
- The number of players for this session is too large.
You have exceeded the number of players supported by this game.
- The router has not informed the arenas of your arrival.
The servers don’t know that you are present. Reopen the lobby and everything should be fine.
- The session is already in progress.
The game session that you are trying to join is already in progress. Try to join a session that is not started yet.
- There was an error in the login message.
An error occurred in the login message. If the problem happens again, please contact us about this problem.
- There was an error sending the login message.
An error has occurred when the login message information was sent.
- There was an undetermined error in the arenas.
It’s possible that our Arena Servers are down at the moment. Try again a little bit later.
- This session is not available.
The session that you are trying to join is not available anymore. Try to join another session.
- Too few people to start the game.
Add more players to the session. Some games require a minimum of 2 players in order to start the game.
- Unable to launch Direct Play game.
This is a known error that ubi.com is working to correct. You should be able to retry and play without any problems.
- Visitors are not allowed.
There are 2 kinds of people who can join games: players and visitors. Most games only accept players, while visitors are allowed for games like Quake.
- Wrong password for session.
The password you entered is incorrect. Please check your spelling and try again.
- You are already in another session (of game). Do you want to quit the other session?
You are trying to play a different game than the one that you’re currently waiting for. Please confirm that you really want to leave the present game session.
- You are not in the session.
Please make sure that you are in the right session.
- You are not the master of this session.
This message will appear if you issue commands reserved for the session master only - such as kicking players.
- You cannot join the session because of a version incompatibility. Either try to get the latest patch or join a game that has the same version as yours. Your version is:
This message simply asks you to play with people who are using the same version as you. Please visit the official website of the game and get the latest patches.
- You cannot join the session because your game version wasn't detected. You can only join sessions where the host has an undetected version.
If you are using a version that we cannot detect, it’s usually because we cannot detect the version of the file that you are currently using.
