Game Service Settings

To open up the Game Service Settings window, right-click on the ubi.com icon in your system tray. This opens a menu. Select the "Settings" option to open the GameService Settings window. Here you can choose between the ubi.com Settings tab or the Plug-ins tab. The Credits tab displays the names of the team members who developed the ubi.com game service application. You can also open the game service settings window from the Lobby by clicking on Options then selecting General Options.

General Settings

  • Language: This lets you choose the language displayed in the software. Changing the core language file also changes the language on all installed plug-ins.
  • Connect Automatically: If you check this option, ubi.com logs on automatically to the network with your most recently used player name and password. Note that you must check the Save Password option in the Login Window for this to work.
  • Reconnect on Disconnection: Checking this option will let ubi.com reconnect you automatically if you are disconnected from the Internet.
  • Show Splash Screen: This option is on by default. If you take if off, the ubi.com graphic that appears on startup will not appear anymore.

Plug-Ins

  • Search for: Checking this option causes ubi.com to automatically check for any new plug-ins available for download.
  • Launch Plug-ins: Checking this option activates the lower Installed Plug-ins window. Select the plug-ins you want ubi.com to start automatically upon startup.
  • Settings button: Opens the settings window on the highlighted plug-in in the Installed Plug-ins list.
  • Ok button: Once you complete setting up the core, click the OK button to save your settings and close the window.
  • Cancel button: Closes the Settings window without saving any changes made in it.
  • Help button: Opens the Help file.

About

  • This lets you know the version number and the latest changes that were done to the version.

Version

  • It gives you different version numbers that could be useful when requesting some help.
