Lobby Settings
To open up the Lobby Settings window, simply click on the Options. This opens a menu and selects the Lobby Settings option.
General
Toolbar display options: By selecting the Text and Icon option, you will have both the text and the icon displayed for each button in the toolbar of the Lobby. If you select Icon Only the text part will be removed. You can still see the Tooltip when your mouse is over the button.
Lobby display:
- Large Icons: If you select Large Icons, the game sessions will be displayed using big icons. You will only be able to see the name of the game, the number of players in the session, and, if the game is started, the ping of the host.
- Details: If you select Details, you will be able to see all the Large Icons features plus the game version and the compatibility version. Please refer to the "GAMENAME" section of the Lobby Ssettings to learn what they are.
Advanced
- Hide started games: With this option checked, you won’t see any games that are already launched.
- Hide full games: With this option checked, you won’t see any games that already have the maximum number of players in it.
- Hide Players in started Games: With this option selected, all the players already in games won’t be listed in the Players List anymore.
- Show tack icon (when Friends List is open): When this option is selected and the Friends list is open, you will see a small "tack." If you click on it, you will be able to separate the Lobby and the Friends List.
- Display pings in digit format: If selected, all the pings will be displayed in numbers (milliseconds).
- Keep the chat connection when playing: When a game is launched, we stop the chat in the Lobby to save bandwidth. But if you’ve got a good connection and want to be able to go back and forth between the game and the Lobby Chat, then select this option and the chat will work while you are playing.
- Don’t publish my IP address for ping: With this sort of ping, it is possible that someone can know your IP address simply by pinging you. If you want total privacy, select this option and a little "N/A" will appear beside your name (when they ping you). That way, they won’t know your IP address.
- Automatic sort for the Player List: If selected, the list of players will automatically sort itself based on the selected field (default is Ping).
- Automatic sort for the room list: If selected, the list of Game Sessions will automatically sort itself based on the selected field (default is Ping).
"GAMENAME"
- Path where the exe is located: Will tell you where the game is installed. If the path isn’t the right one, click on Detect and try to find the valid path.
- Versions: Will tell which version you currently have installed on your computer.
