The Text Chat

You can start a Chat Session with any of your friends directly from the Friends List. Check the Friends List help files to learn how to create a chat session.

The Chat Window is easy to use. Just type your message in the chat bar on the lower part of the window and press Enter to send it. Note that you can change the size, color, and type of font when chatting by clicking on this button: .  This will open up the font selection window.

To the right of the Chat Window is the User List. Every friend you are chatting with will appear here. If you click on one of their names, a pop-up menu will appear with new options.

From this menu you can:

• Send Page: This will bring up a Pager Window for you to send a message to the selected player. Click here to learn how to send pages.
  
  
• Chat Request: Invites the selected player to another chat session.
  
  
• Send File: This lets you send a file to the selected player. Click here to learn how to send files.
  
  
• Friend Profile: Displays the selected player's information window.
  
  
• Add to Friends List: Lets you add the selected user to your Friends List. Click here to learn more about adding friends.
